The FEDz Release Inspired Tune ‘The Traveller’

The FEDz have been making waves since their inception – for all the right reasons.  The cross Atlantic collective comprised of 13 creatives from both the US and UK have been championed by MistaJam, Target, Ace , Clara Amfo and Trevor Nelson and were chosen as one of 1Xtra’s ‘’HOT for 2017”.

From hosting their own renegade street takeovers to performing to massive crowds at Bestival, Lovebox, Great Escape and performing live on BBC2 from Glastonbury, The FEDz are a fast rising group that are turning heads at every turn.  Beyond their clear musicality and impressive individual resumes, they are also in part humanitarians using their platform for the greater good.Their most recent release, “The Traveller”, is yer another stellar release in what has been an impressive string of singles.  Lead by the vocals of Mr. Blue, backed by a gospel choir of 30, incorporating an incredible string ensemble and fine-tuned by The Roots musical genius – James Poyser, the tune is impressive I’m too many ways to count.

No need to elaborate here, I’ll just say take a listen and come to your own conclusions.

To make sure the release makes an impact beyond likes, follows, streams and royalties, The FEDz have teamed up with the charity Refugee Community Kitchen (http://refugeecommunitykitchen.com/ ) and will be giving a portion of profits directly to assist the charities mission of, “feeding people without judgement.”  Refugee Community Kitchen was created in 2015 after a conversation at Notting Hill Carnival, to feed and support refugees living in the camps of Europe. Existing entirely through donations, crowd funding and the will of an army of volunteers, Refugee Community Kitchen has served over 2 million hot meals, built industrial and community kitchens in the camps so that displaced people can cook food with dignity, organized food to be transported to Syria, and have extended their invaluable work to serving food to people in need in London.
