Charlotte OC Kicks Off 2019 with ‘Satellite’ [VIDEO]

Buzzing UK artist Charlotte OC is ready to take 2019 by storm.  Having already racked up millions of streams to date, there is no wonder why she has landed on the radar of tastemakers around the world.

Following up on her collaboration with Jonas Blue for his single, “Supernova”, which was included on his platinum-selling debut album, Charlotte OC unleashed her single, “Satellite”, to critical acclaim.  Following an extensive writing period in Los Angeles, “Satellite”, was co-written with James Yuill, who also handles production duties.  Adding to the allure around the single, Charlotte OC has recently premiered the official video which she co-directed along with Luis Cross.  The beautifully cinematic video acts as the perfect accompaniment to the hauntingly soulful and powerful tune.  About the video treatment, Charlotte OC says, “The whole idea behind the video is about meeting somebody and thinking they’re incredible and you see an ‘out of this world’ quality in them. That standard stuff you feel when you let your head run away ….but sometimes they’re just not quite what you thought they were and it turns out they’re just pretty ordinary.

Hoping to give her fans a bit more authenticity and insight into the woman behind the tunes, Charlotte OC made sure to let the real her shine through in the new video.  She says, “I really didn’t want the video to be soppy and I wanted to portray my personality as much as possible. I feel like this is the first video I’ve done where I’m showing my fans who I am and what my humour is like. Which overall is silly and bit a weird.

With her impressive vocals, evocative songwriting and overall aura, there is no doubt that Charlotte OC is on to something… All I know is I am hooked.  I will be keeping this one in heavy rotation and patiently waiting for some more.
