Chloe Lilac Readies New EP with ‘Special’

Born and raised in Brooklyn, singer/songwriter/producer Chloe Lilac has had an impressive last couple of years.  First landing on my radar with her single, “Summer”, which still rocks heavily in my personal playlists, the fast rising Pop gem has gone from bedroom producer to multi-million streaming, RCA signee in a blink of an eye.

Having released her debut EP, “Manic Pixie Dream”, earlier this year, Chloe Lilac has been non-stop through 2019.   While she took a break from releasing since then, she spent a great deal of time performing live.  Having landed support for Charlotte Lawrence and Sasha Sloan on tour, performed during SXSW 2019, and also supporting Tessa Violet on a summer 2019 run, 2019 has been a whirlwind.  Now preparing to the headline Neon Gold ‘Popshop’ in October and locked in to support mxmtoon on tour this fall, Chloe Lilac has her pedal to the metal closing out the year.

While Chloe Lilac let her debut EP ride throughout the year to hone in on her live show, the time has now come for her to keep the heat on.  With her sophomore EP now in the pipeline, she has recently released the projects lead single, “Special”.  With her stunning, seductive vocals leading the way, the tune churns along with contemporary twang and new age swag.  Layers of guitar, keys and bass set the mood while punchy drums and funky embellishments pop in and out.  The mid-tempo jam allows Chloe to give listeners a taste of what she is made of while also bringing plenty of groove and energy to get them moving.

As the first offering from her new project, this one should be more than enough to get fans excited.  Make sure you keep an eye out for what’s next.
