Preparing to launch her debut EP later this year, LA based singer/songwriter/dancer Fox Sinclair has been building up the hype with a number of stand out singles. Originally from Baton Rouge, Fox relocated to LA to dive head first into the music biz. Having danced her whole life, it seems Fox Sinclair had a whole lot more creativity to get off of her chest. About where it all started, she says, “Dance has been the one constant in my life – no matter what style, my body needs to move.”
Since moving to the west side, she has been hard at work learning, perfecting her sound and expanding her horizons. After studying production at SAE, Fox Sinclair’s musical journey really began. Behind the scenes, she helped to write tunes along side massive artists like T.I., Faith Evans and Afrojack while also flexing her performance skills at venues like Peppermint Club, Sayers, and Petite Hermitage.
Since releasing her debut single, “Soft”, along with an official video, Fox Sinclair has continued to build hype around her artist project, even landing a management contract with Randy Jackson. With the release of her EP around the corner. Fox Sinclair has recently unleashed the projects title track, “Playing to Win”, once again showing an impressive commercial sound, IDGAF attitude and a whole lot of swag.
Over a rhythmic, 808 laced, urban leaning production, Fox Sinclair lets her empowering aura and shit talking lyrics take hold from the very top of the track. Blending elements of Pop, Hip Hop and R&B, the new single brings a whole lot to the table – making it a must have for music lovers across the board. About the inspiration behind the track, she says, “Playing to Win is straight up telling a lover to step up their game! It’s more fun to just dive into romance- if someone is wishy washy I’m not into it. If you want me you have to be all about me. Play to win, if not, you lose.“
