I have been impatiently waiting for some new Baby Fuzz! And it’s finally here!
His new single, “Weekend Blues” is an absolute bop with a great summer feel and great dynamics. Don’t let the name fool you. The upbeat vibe coupled with mariachi influence will give you anything but the blues. Although, the song is “written from the point of view of a lonely person who goes to a party and dissects the universe in their head instead of having fun.” Go ahead and dissect “Weekend Blues” in your own head, and you’re guaranteed to have your own fun!
I first discovered Baby FuzZ back in 2018, when he released, “Shadowland“, a single from his then newly debuted freshman album. I instantly fell in love. Fast-forward to 2019, I had the absolute pleasure of not only getting to see my new favorite artist perform an acoustic set at Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan, but I also got to meet him AND had him sign my vinyl (who doesn’t love some fresh merch)! Talk about a true fan-girl moment!! He handled it pretty well, poor guy didn’t know what hit him!
Baby FuzZ is no stranger to the music scene. With credits under his belt as a songwriter, producer and recording he has worked alongside massive acts like Adam Levine, Lana Del Rey, Britney Spears, Madonna, and more. Having found massive success helping to pen hits for such artists, it is only right that his own artist repertoire be just as impressive.
