The first time I listened to this track, I wasn’t sold… It wasn’t until I came back to it that I discovered the beauty in it.
Cameron Murdoch blends Jazzy instrumentation, with swagged out bars, Andre 300 type flows and smooth R&B vibes into something totally cool and original. Chilled out melodies float beneath the vocals which truly lead the song along.
The vocal arrangement takes the song into several different directions all coming back together into an overall funky fresh track. While the track is in no way commercial, I can see this one rocking a live crowd.
