Chris Noah Brings Power Pop Vibes with ‘Fall Through’

Recent JAM OF THE WEEK alumni Chris Noah is back with a new tune, and once again has my full attention.  While I have to admit his last single, “River”, is still in heavy rotation, the new jam, “Fall Through”, shows a whole new side of the talented Latvian artist.

Once again working with UK based producer Kristofer Harris (Belle & Sebastian; Bears Den, Ghost-Poet), this time around Chris Noah delivers a fun, guitar driven, up-tempo Indie-Pop tune, which is in stark contrast to the slow burning, emotional ride he took us on with, “River”.  Some mellow synth work combines with killer guitar riffs beneath Chris’ honeyed vocals which are as dynamic as they are memorable.  Through an energetic delivery, rich falsetto and stellar toplines, Chris Noah brings an anthemic inspiring vibe on this one.

With a bit of a nostalgic touch, some 80’s vibes come through the mix thanks to the layers of synth and guitar, fat snare and processing on the vocals.  The perfect soundtrack to any teenage party scene, this one brings that feel good vibe that we can always use more of.  About the release Chris Noah says, “Fall through definitely differs from other songs I’ve written. It’s about the Illusion people get while meeting someone new, while still getting over a past relationship. At first you feel the excitement, but deep down you know, you’ll have to end it.
