Hudson East has been making some major waves of late. With recent features on Nine’s recent UK top 10 album, along with a number of slots on Krept & Konan’s top 10 project, the buzzing artist is showing no sign of letting up.
From a young age, Hudson East learned to play piano and drums before transitioning into a songwriter and all around artist. Throughout his lifetime of creating, he has been able to develop his own sound while honing his abilities as a multi-faceted artist – and people are taking notice.
For his first single of 2018, he has released, “Give Me Loving”, which finds him going back and forth from rapping to singing, delivering an impressive performance that can hold its own amongst the top artists of the day. Incredibly catchy melodies sway on top of a mellow yet slapping production built around muted guitars and see basses.
Blurring the lines of Pop, Hip Hop and R&B, there is also a brilliant Tropical/Afro vibe that joins the party to create a memorable tune from beginning to end. After one listen it is evident that Hudson East knows exactly what he is doing – and he pulls it all off in prime fashion.
