Over the last few years, Isabel Wood has been enchanting fans at home in Australia and around the globe with her impressive songwriting, hypnotic vocals and overall accessibility. Having official launched her solo project in 2019, Isabel Wood has since racked up hundreds of thousands of plays, landed on national radio and been able to work alongside some of the most talented producers in the world.

Hailing from the Sunshine Coast and having graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Popular Music, her success thus far has been no fluke. Continuing to prove herself worthy with each new release, her undeniable talent is easy to hear and her sound only continues to blossom as time goes on. Most recently she has teamed up with producer Konstantin (Tones & I, Mallrat, Eves Karydas, Merci Mercy, etc.) for her latest bop, “Allergy Season“.

Making light of her sometimes sporadic, nonsensical, irrational crying fits that she often finds herself in the midst of, her latest single puts a bright and bubbly spin on seemingly sad phenomenon. About the tune she says, “This track completely grew from the idea of using the phrase ‘Allergy Season’ as an excuse for crying, which I loved. Although the lyrics are sad, I always wanted this to be a happy bop because most of the time I’m crying over literally nothing and that just seems funny to me.”

With powerhouse producer Konstantin helping to bring it all together, the new release is a bright and bubbly sad-girl anthem that helps to bring a smile to even the saddest of faces. Helping to ensure that none of us let our emotions get the best of us, Isabel Wood and Konstanin bring a clean and catchy tune to life, creating an undeniable gem that I have no doubt will be making some major waves. About working with Konstantin, Isabel says, “Konstantin absolutely nailed the production and I had so much fun working with him.
