East coast duo Elthon Mendoza and Ben Mekkes Have been working for years fine tuning their skills as producers. Finally ready to show the world what they’re made of, they have recently released their first remix under the moniker Met Steps.
For their first release they have taken on fellow East Coast crooner Will Wildfire’s, tune, “MCR”, and flipped it into a summer ready, retro inspired groove. Percolating basslines and playful percussion carry the tune and transform the smooth R&B vocals into a pumping jam.
Quality production, working well with the vocals and displaying some solid engineering chops, this is a solid first release for the budding duo.
