Raised in LA, Pharaoh Santana is no stranger to the music business. With his father, Coolio, being one of the top selling artists of the 90’s with hits like, “Gangsta’s Paradise“, and “C U When U Get There“, Pharaoh Santana can clearly thank his genetics for some of his musical ability, yet he always makes a point to do things on his own terms. Stepping out from his fathers shadow, Pharaoh has created his own sound and is dead set on proving he has a place in the game, with or without the co-sign from his father. Beyond the music, Pharaoh is also an actor, most recently in the hit web-series “NUKE CITY” on Amazon.
A recent graduate from NYU, Pharaoh released his first mixtape in 2014 and has been hard at work ever since. With several performances under his belt including two shows at Webster Hall and a show with 9th Wonder and Murs at the Observatory in Orange Country, Pharaoh Santana has been honing his craft and plotting for his post-college career. With the release of his latest single (and video), “M O O N L I G H T“, Pharaoh Santana flexes his ability by bringing both melody and bars into the equation. Over a production that brings a chill vibe along with a bit of knock, he flexes with slick verses and a catchy af hook. The dark visuals perfectly compliment the song and help to give listeners a glimpse into Pharaoh Santana as an artist.
