Anyone who follows the blog would know I am a bit obsessed with the sounds of Sweden. With new artists popping up on my radar nearly everyday from the Scandipop capital, I never have to wait long before I find new acts t swoon over. Recently multi-talented Shadi G has been hitting my inbox with a number of singles, putting her seductive vocals and original swag on full display.
Blending elements of contemporary R&B with world elements and dreamy arrangements, Shadi G is without a doubt carving a lane of her own. The fully independent artist not only produces her own material, but I’d also releasing the end product on her own label Goldamin Records. Her newest tune, “Mind”, is a hazy and hypnotic jam that relies on minimal production and Shadi’s stunning vocals to create a dreamy soundscape that is as emotive as it is sexy.
With her original tone, impressive lyricism and just a bit of attitude, Shadi G has been on a roll as of late and I have no doubt she will continue to make some waves in the new year.
