While Steven A Clark May be a new name for you (I know he was for me), he already has a whole lot going in. Already confirmed as a support act on Chromeo’s upcoming North America tour and preparing to roll out his brand new, “Where Neon Goes to Die”, LP, Steven has been hard at work.
Ready to go full steam ahead and backed by indie label Secretly Canadian, Steven A Clark has recently released the lead single, “Feel this Way”, from his forthcoming project. Beyond the slick melodies, touch of soul and Pop accessibility that Steven brings to the track – the new single was produced by Boys Noize & Ape Drums (so the production is obvious flames).
Funky guitar rhythms, fat drums, deep layers and rolling, plucked basslines bring the perfect accompaniment to Stevens vocals that bring a sensuality and innocence to the release. A perfect arrangement and quality mix round out the track – helping to deliver a smooth yet totally dance floor friendly jam.
Let’s see what the rest of this LP has I’m store… this is a great first taste for sure.
